Linda Sue Elliott, age 53, of Warsaw, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, at her home. She was born on May 6, 1959, in Apple Valley, California, the daughter of William Boyd and Patricia Lou Hansen Elliott.
She grew up in California near Redlands. In 1996, she moved to Warsaw with her parents to work at their convenience store, Angler's Camp. Later she worked for Bullseye in Warsaw and in 2006 came to work for Dollar General in Lincoln until her health failed.
She was an avid reader. She loved animals, especially her cats. She was a supporter of the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Center in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by her mother and step-dad, Pat and Burt Anderson of Warsaw, her dad and step-mom, William and Miranda Elliott of Lake Havasu, Arizona, two brothers, David Boyd Elliott of Portland, Oregon and William Louis Elliott of Searchlight, Nevada, two sisters, Kristie Nicola of Warsaw and Lexy Miller of Tustin, California, numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services and burial for Linda Elliott will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Sunnyside Cemetery near Lincoln, MO., with Rev. Johnny Medlock officiating.
A visitation will be held Wednesday evening, April 3, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, MO.
